What is PeriodT?
PeriodT is a menstrual product drive that happens every year during the month of March and early April. Since its inception in 2021, 20,000 menstrual hygiene products have been collected and donated. Basic, common menstrual products such as tampons, pads, menstrual cups, and wipes are collected and then donated to the Black-owned non-profit, Mamatoto Village in Washington D.C. and a local menstrual product hotline created by The Flower Collective VA. We were happy to partner with Queen Ni's Kitty Palace in a buy 1 box of pads, give 1 box of pads. as well during PeriodT'22. We hope to partner with these amazing businesses and organizations again. If you are interested in partnership, we'd love to connect with you!
Why does this matter?
Did you know that 567,715 people experience homelessness in the United States? Of that, 53.5% of the homeless population are women. This means over a quarter of a million women do not have steady access or access at all to any menstrual products. Many women are left using socks, paper towel, toilet paper, or paper bags as their sanitary napkin. Unbelievable, right? Menstruation is a natural female process all women endure and every female should have access to the proper resources needed to safely and comfortably carry out a natural process.
Why does EyeRmbr do this?
We exist to enrich the mind, body, and soul of women in order for them to maximize their purpose and impact. This mission cannot be achieved if basic, female needs are unmet or to a degree of comfortability. We must first serve and address immediate needs before we can begin to nourish the mind and soul.
Where and how can I donate?
There are 3 ways you can get involved:
1. Purchase donations from the PeriodT Amazon Wishlist
2. Make monetary donations at:
3. Physical donations can be dropped off at designed locations throughout the month of the drive. Each city will have point of contact and arrangements can be made for physical, contact-less drop off via car.
When is this drive taking place?
Donations will be open for collection beginning March 1 of every year. PeriodT 2023 drive will take place March 1-April 9, 2023.
I do not live near any of the drop off places, but I want contribute with physical donations. How should I go about doing that?
If you wish to physical donations but do not live near any of the site drop-offs, you're invited to purchase items off of our Periodt Amazon Wishlist. During PeriodT'22, we offered the option of buying 1 box of Goddess pads and giving 1 box when you purchase from Queen Ni's Kitty Palace. Monetary donations are welcomed and encouraged at any time on our website's donations tab.
When is the latest I can mail in donations?
If you are mailing in donations given outside of our Periodt Amazon Wishlist, please ensure all mailed donation items are shipped no later than April 1 to ensure prompt delivery.
