Good Sis
Good Sis (2 oz tisane)
Who: for my good sis, you!
What: red raspberry leaf, goldenrod, dandelion leaf, nettle, lady's mantle, & spearmint tisane blend
Taste: like black tea. When minimal sweetener added, tea resembles sweet tea (especially chilled)
May help with:
Red raspberry: excellent womb toner; compact with manganese to oxygenate cells; strengthens uterine muscles, great for preparation of childbirth
Goldenrod: great for good sis experiencing heavy bleeding as it replenishes iron; diuretic for urinary tract troubles (e.g. kidney stones, inflammation); anti-inflammatory for sore muscles.
Dandelion leaf: great for good sis experiencing tumors or cyst in the womb (uterus, ovaries, etc.); aids in kidney function; stimulates the gut for digestive secretions
Spearmint: excellent for good sis experiencing PCOS
Nettle: rich in iron and other minerals, nourish womb during pre & post menstrual cycle, postpartum after birth & miscarriage.
Lady's Mantle: nourish uterus, vaginal discharge and heavy menstrual bleeding
How to prepare:
1. In a pot or teapot, pour desired amount of water.
2. Turn on medium heat and to allow water to warm up. Once water in pot is heated, turn off heat
3. Gather and measure herbs. Place herbs in a steeper or tea bag (1 tablespoon per 2 cups of water). If you do not have a steeper or tea bag, place herbs in pot with hot water. Do not place herb in water if water still boiling. Steep herbs for a minimum of 30 minutes or longer, if desired and able.
4. Remove steeper or tea bag from pot. If herbs were placed directly into water, pour tea into a strainer over an empty jar to separate herbs from tea. Pour tea into cup & enjoy!
Blend makes an estimated 18-25 cups, depending on consumer. Consume up to three times a day. Store in a cool, dry place out of sunlight.
